Great service, Johann helped me out with multiple invoices and customizations to a system while I was trying to make my mind. While I was deciding the panels I wanted had moved to out stock but Johann did inform me and gave a suitable alternative. Once I had paid for my system, it was delivered in 2 business days and installed over the next 2 business days by Luke. Would recommend to anyone looking for solar.

Excellent service received by Johan with honest opinions given for the correct solar products for my home. Ordering and installation went smoothly. The only set back was that JC Solar do not have a walk in store but apart from this, I'm very satisfied with their sales and installation service.

The experience dealing with their sales and installation teams was consistent. But what really impressed me was their support when we had an issue with one inverter. The technical team and the sales team seemed to be on the same page. It was easy to work with them and they were available to answer any questions we had. Good sales service from Johann and team and excellent pricing but Luke the installer is not very helpful. Got his number from the team to assist me with a problem he overed to help and can video call as soon as I get to the site. Informed him I am almost on site that was quarter to 3 tried to phone him, send whatsapp no response till now. Sorted out the problem on my own and everything is running 100% and client is very happy. Sorry Johann and team if it was not for Luke you would have gotten a 5 star.

Dealing with Johann was ok - well priced however sold me a battery that was out of stock which meant either paying in for a better battery or delaying the installation. The 1st Growatt inverter they installed never worked and Johan assisted in sorting it out but also required me upgrading to the 5000w version instead. The main issue I had was with his installer who said it would be best idea to install the inverter (Growatt 5000 Es) and battery in my passage (next to my db board), adjacent to the bedrooms. I was told that the inverter would not be noisy and there would be some noise when it charges or when there are large loads on the unit. As a specialist installer - I trusted his advice and the inverter was installed. The noise is unbearable and i now have to manually switch over each time we have load shedding. I also have to fork out another large sum of money to have the unit moved to the garage. In retrospect - the installation price was agreed without Johan or Luke coming out to see the place and obviously as close to the dB board would be the most profitable for the installer. He also refused to issue a CoC as he said all my breaker switches were "melted" even though only 1 showed signs of high heat. Nonetheless I believe it was a good idea to change them out as I didnt now know how old they were anyways. Schools fees paid - and I know now to get multiple installation quotes and options. All other installers I spoke to laughed at the fact that it was installed inside - next to the bedrooms… Unfortunately JC Solar lost out on a a lot more business from me as well as recommendations to tons of others. My advice - buy from JC Solar Panels but dont use his installer.
