Their exceptional workmanship, strong ethics, and excellent after-hours support exceeded all my expectations. A special shoutout to John, who has been not only a terrific person but also an invaluable help throughout the process. Having my solar system installed during such a critical time—when Eskom was down for nearly a week—was a lifesaver. Despite the pressure, John and the Solar Brilliance team were at the top of their game, getting everything in place in no time. I’m truly grateful for their dedication and professionalism. Solar Brilliance was recommended to me from a very technical and helpful solar geyser company. I got multiple quotes from different companies. It was after meeting John from Solar Brilliance I was the most impressed. John listened carefully to our requirements. Other companies would take an estimate of our load from our prepaid usage and not listen / consider the other scenarios we wanted to be prepared for. Such as our occasional unplanned outages, keeping warm at winter and possibly another baby soon. He was also the only person to get up on the roof with a measuring tape 😉 The system John designed/proposed was not the cheapest but I believed it was most suited for our needs current and future. He also used the best equipment from my research. But the biggest advantage is John is a very experienced engineer and understands the technology very well which is most valuable for setup and support of this equipment. The installation went perfectly and finished sooner than we agreed. All the while we could not be at home as our son was in hospital but John communicated perfectly and managed everything. After the installation, we are very happy with the system, after which John returned to explain the software / app to ensure we could understand and manage the system if we needed.
