TechHut is not the place to buy from, you will be disappointed repeatedly. I found a Corsair 32GB Ram kit on their shop, it stated "dispatched from our warehouse in 1 hour" it also stated "order now only 7 units left" both listings tell me that they have the items in stock. They definitely did not have stock. I went the next day after i ordered the item to collect it from their Springfield branch but the guy informed me that they dont have the stock and are still trying to source it. I asked how long that would take and he said he would have to get back to me. I called the next day to query my order and was told they still sourcing it. I requested an immediate refund and he told me to email the sales email address, which i did with no reply back from them. It was weekend so i called Monday morning to query my refund and the guy told me he has sent my details to process. I called again Tuesday (Today) and was then told that my refund will only be done on Thursday, i told him thats unacceptable and that i needed the RAM for a build for my client and they are now holding up the process of me delivering a PC to my client. I called again on Wednesday and was told I was being refunded by peach payments the gateway I used for paying for the item, they emailed and said the refund could take up to 10 days. The refund only came through on the Sunday after all the backwards and forwards. Reading some reviews of TechHut tells me this is a common issue with their business. I would stay far away from TechHut if you are looking to buy anything they sell. Rather order from a reputable supplier that doesn't lie about stock levels or that they have a warehouse with stock that can be dispatched quickly. As a first time buyer from TechHut i am not impressed at all and will never buy from them again.

I had a solar system installed in July 2025 by this company, have experienced numerous issues with it. It has been a nightmare from the beginning, the incorrect solar panels were initially fitted and had to be changed. The solar DB caught on fire and had to be replaced due to them installing incorrect fuse sizes. The compliance certificate was issued by a thirds party who did not even come to check the system out. The battery was not connected correctly, I had a get another service provider to get all these issues rectified at my cost. The owner doesn’t even come across to inspect the work and the reception refuses to give his details. A very shady company to deal with.

Placed an order on 26 Nov (today is 29 Dec). Initial order was a small test order for products I wanted to buy in large quantities, but I was not familiar with this business, so I decided to trial them. Good thing I did! As I would have been out of pocket quite a bit of money. A kind gentleman did answer a call from me a few days after placing the order with a promise to check stock levels immediately and fulfill the order the same day, or else, refund me. Needless to say, that failed to happen. At least they answer the phone. My emails go unanswered, predictably, as well as my request for a refund. Whilst this order was luckily tiny, I felt the review was needed to let people know what they could be getting themselves into.

I ordered the 5Kw inverter Kit package, the purchase went smooth but after that there were some delays in delivery as TechHut did not have batteries in stock, few days later there was another delay as we were now waiting for the pre-wired DB, some improvement from TechHut that can be implemented is to advise the client of "out of stock" situations when orders are placed on all your listed items before payment is accepted, this will prevent un-needed emails back and forth, and give the client the opportunity to shop elsewhere, Your the 3 Day delivery policy should become 7days. Package arrived 10 days after purchase were made in good condition, NOW for the installation. Werner.

DONT EVER USE THIS COMPANY, their aftersales service is pathetic and all they want is for you to pay upfront and when you have a problem, they wont help you, the owner ignores emails and does not take your call, the staff ignore your calls, the sales lady Sandisha just wants your sale, when they recognize your number they just don't answer as they know you have a problem but they ignore your call, i experienced that as when i called they never answer but when my wife called from another number they answered the call.she runs away and puts other people on the phone and as for Shravek, he is a compulsive liar ,they did an installation at my place and the fuse box started to burn , almost burned my house down, please go check the comments on hello peter, so many people have had issues with this company, yet they continue to operate,. I was told to give a good review before as they have had some irate and unhappy clients, now I am one of them. Also note the reply from the owner, he trys to shift blame and say he never assist us cos we had a balance and we did not want to pay upfront, the balance was because he never sorted a previous issue with the wi-fi dongle which was an ongoing issue,Below Now he responds to cover up. They installed the 2nd battery and never advised that it needed a stronger fuse box, only after the fuse box starts to burn then they tell me i must install another stronger fuse box, Techhut installed the 2nd battery, it was their responsibility to advise me as a customer.And what about my growatt inverter dongle. They came 3 times and it's still not fixed. Made excuse oh we waiting for Growatt. Amazing now that a bad post is on your page you run to respond. If you cared about your customers you would have the decency to call them and assist but unfortunately you run away and post emails to cover UP YOUR POOR SERVICE, And the truth of the matter is when we called you in you said you would rectify the issue and even charged for it but left it as it was . Please don't come with the story about payment. i SPENT almost R100 000 with your company and you were crying about R1430 which we must pay before you come, you did work for me , YOU DID NOTHING FOR FREE, I PAID FOR EVERYTHING, DONT LIE, AND I never not paid but due to you not sorting the Dongle issue which is over 8months we struggling to get help, You dont care , all you want is money and even your staff told me , all you want is money, You don''t care about customers.I.held back the balance so my dongle can be sorted and your technician agreed to it. You guys don't even answer the calls when we call in for assistance and you as the owner hide from customer calls when there is a problem. Not to mention your unprofessional staff that injured me with the ladder when you came to do the installation. The public needs to know how poor service you offer when customers have issues. and also your technician did advise that he has no papers for the work he is doing so tell me how do you operate so unprofessionally.
