Wanted to install a Solar system that would make me independent of Eskom electricity supply. Approached 3 different suppliers and while Alumo was not the cheapest they were very competitive and both Gerhard de Beer and Gerhard Schoeman went the extra mile to answer and resolve all my questions to give me the best deal. Alumo offers various affordable options and the installation team led by Carlo and team Thato, Sihle, Thabo, Gift, and Neo did a very professional job all within installation timeframe. Conrad did final quality control and COC. All in all a very professional team, job done. System works great and seems need about 10% more to go off grid. Still busy understanding whole configuration etc, so efficiency may still improve, but with 16 panels 8 KW inverter, 4x5Kw batteries, during the day have plenty of energy to run house 100%!off the grid. Only during early morning around 05:00 batteries reach 40% capacity and more energy is then drawn from grid until solar panels kick. Will recommend Alumo to anyone, look at their affordable packages.
