Going through the whole process of getting solar felt a bit daunting, until GoSolar appointed Fynbos Solar to come and do our actual installation. After that I felt very comfortable and at ease, as their communication is open and instant (a whatsapp away) and they are just super helpful, friendly and just generally wonderful people to work with. The team that came out to do the installation was a group of sweet afrikaans guys that made me laugh and have wonderful manners. (Still getting used to being called Tannie but guess I am not so young anymore, but thats afrikaans manners) All in all a surprisingly easy experience with a good company who employ all the right people. I have to say, the service we received from Fynbos Solar has been beyond exceptional, and it is almost entirely down to two incredible individuals: David, the electrician/ the genius, and Luzaine, their organizer. Without these two, I probably wouldn't have gone solar at all. They are the main reason we decided to move forward with this project. From the very beginning, their commitment was unbelievable. Luzaine and David were phenomenal, messaging me over the weekend and even after hours just to ensure I was okay and to answer any questions. This level of care is so rare and speaks volumes about their dedication. When it came to the technical side, David's expertise, wisdom, and the way he explained everything to my wife and me was simply amazing. He broke down every single aspect of the system, helping us understand that going solar wasn't just for convenience during load shedding, but about long-term savings and smartly using the incredible energy that the sun provides us with every day. These two are the reason why companies like Fynbos are thriving. Their exceptional attention to detail, their incredible work ethic, and their willingness to constantly go the extra mile is what sets them apart. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Great service from the whole team at Fynbos Solar, from the Amin support (Luzaine) in terms of planning and scheduling the instalation to the team on the ground 5stars all round. The installation team worked neat and tidy and left the site clean, installation was quick and easy and the team took the time and effort to leave me will informed about what to do and what to watch for, "the Dummies guide to Solar PV" even did tutoral of App with me. I am bitterly disappointed in Fynbos Solar’s after sales service on behalf of GOSOLR! The installation team, in my opinion, did not complete their job, did not fully brief me on how the system works because they had to "get home it is Friday!" They promised to be back on Monday morning to finish off and register my system on the app. Well that did not happen. My system broke down early on Saturday morning. It took some time and a long hold of a well meaning consultant to assist step by step. He advised me of an obscure On/Off switch which reinstated the system. The system broke down again Saturday morning 16th and still down! I tried using the On/Off switch to no avail. And Fynbos Solar does not have an after hours call number. This, in any paying consumer / client’s book, is unacceptable and a ruining of the GOSOLR brand. As a result? I doubt if I’ll recommend the brand to friends and colleagues. I already referred one of South Africa’s leading architectural practices to consider GOSOLR. He is interested. I am going to advise him differently. The bottomline? Fynbos Solar is not a consumer friendly enterprise! They need to do better, rather than take clients for granted under the auspices of the GOSOLR name.

Hi there I also want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart . The way the guys operating so sufficient .. large system in 2 days! And it was hot outside !! I was shocked the way they worked not even taking lunch. And when they speak to each other, well mannered and soft and not screaming at each other. For me after I had so much people working for me at my house before , this was something nice to see. They clean after everything was set up. And after the set up explaining to me with lots of patience. I will highly recommended them! You guys are a mean team 5 star rating! Excellent service. Friendly team doing the install, kept out of the way in the house, our dogs liked them so they must be good 😀 Knowledgeable, left everything neat and tidy, finished the install in a day (though our house is small and compact) - really great job, thoroughly recommend!
