Inverter Warehouse

I ordered 6 solar panels online as I'm based in Durban. Once payment reflected they called me to say my order was ready for my courier to collect. My experience with Solar & Inverter Warehouse was pleasent and professional. I will be ordering more panels soon.

I wish I had read some of these reviews before dealing with them. Their prices are good but service is non-existent. Don't bother trying to phone the land line, send an email or use the web contact form. This is extremely stressful when you have paid them a large amount of money and you are trying to find out the status. The only way I could get any response was by posting a very negative review here. At one time I suspected that I had been scammed, but my goods finally arrived. UPDATE: I have upgraded my review a bit. The reality seems to be that they achieve great prices by saving lots on service staff. (To be fair, my dealings have all been during a period of intense load-shedding) So, if you are spending enough to make the saving worth the frustration, by all means use them. I have gone back twice. FURTHER UPDATE: I have now dealt with them again, 6 months since the last load shedding. Prices (as always) unbeatable, service was excellent!

The service here is really bad. Drove here, paid and waited a good 40 minutes to get the cables. Really PATHETIC. I have waited a shorter time at home affairs. Always read reviews before buying from anywhere.

Very poor after sales service. I purchased an inverter which broke down after a few months. When I sent it to them for the warranty repair, I was pushed from post to pillar being told several different stories of when it would be ready. They are very poor at answering the phone and getting back to you. One time I phoned and spoke to a lady who said she was the bookkeeper. She was rude and showed no understanding of my situation. She later accused my wife who had also spoke to her earlier of swearing at her. They are unprofessional at best and will tell any lies to get out of being accountable. I was initially told it would take 2-3 days for the repair to be completed. Two weeks later when it was not done, they changed posts and said they never said that! A gentleman named Gary/ Gareth?? phoned me after my wife had posted a negative google review and basically told me to never do business with them again!! My inverter is under warranty, so I wonder if by saying that he is personally voiding that warranty! Deal with them at your own risk. I would not recommend at all. Highly unsatisfactory service.

I bought Solar panels and a battery from Solar and Inverter warehouse. The service was amazing and the knowledge next level, with great suggestions coming from the sales team. The guys in the yard went above and beyond to assist in the loading of the panels, even helping to remove our bakkies canopy as the panels couldn't fit. 100% recommend

I have been a happ client since 2021. Even with recent warranty claims they were very helpful.

I ordered goods from SIW twice in the past week - the first order was confirmed via email almost immediately and delivered within a day after payment cleared. My second order took a bit longer to get confirmed - had to call to confirm, however, this was delivered today, a day later after my call. Friendly service. Good products, well priced. Thank you guys!!
