Eloise Solar Energy

I hope someone reads this review before they spend their money. I am highly disappointed with the service from Eloise Solar Energy Pty Ltd. They failed to install surge protection on my system, which resulted in lightning damaging my inverter—an expensive and entirely avoidable issue. A replacement inverter costs around R18 000.00. ( I will say this - nothing is for sure against lightning - but surge protection would have given me some peace of mind) Additionally, they removed and erased the model numbers on my batteries, which raises serious concerns about transparency. The installed batteries are only 72Ah instead of the 100Ah I was quoted and paid for. Furthermore, they never connected the BMS correctly. They also did not install the automatic change-over switch, despite it being included in the price. (* I will edit this - because they did install a manual change-over switch - but still charged me for an automatic fail-over) Most concerningly, the new installers confirmed that the COC you issued was invalid due to improper installation. For example, the inverter on the AC side was not properly earthed, which was one of the failures. The batteries were not earthed, and most disturbingly, the batteries did not have a battery disconnect fuse box. After taking my money, they failed to deliver on their promises. I strongly advise against using this company—their lack of integrity, poor workmanship, and failure to honour agreements have caused me significant financial loss.

It is very sad that after sacrificing your savings someone takes it and not give you value for your money. Imagine having solar but you still suffer like everyone else when there is load shedding. They also charge you for them to come sort out their mess. I so much regret for having contracted this organisation.
