Alistair and Liam and the whole team at AM Solar are just the best! We got messed around by a previous installer who sold us dodgy batteries (conveniently liquidated as soon as the complaints started coming in!) and we were at our wits end with hassles and power outages every single day! In came AM Solar, sorted everything out and we have not had a single day’s problem since! Our whole system is working fantastically now! LEARN FROM OUR MISTAKE AND GO WITH AM SOLAR FROM THE START! We could not be happier - Thank you guys!

Am Solar a few years ago installed a Victron system , which has been a life saver during load shedding and when there were issues they came a quickly and effectively solved the issues. these guys are not your simple electrician that claim to know and understand solar systems they are the real deal.

Earlier this year, one of AM Solar's head installers reversed into my parked vehicle, causing damage. He requested that we handle it as a "personal claim" instead of involving insurance to avoid increasing his premium, and I agreed in good faith. Unfortunately, despite numerous attempts to contact both the installer and AM Solar directly, my requests for reimbursement for the damages have been completely ignored. This situation speaks volumes about the ethical and moral practices of this company and its representatives. If they cannot take responsibility for a simple incident caused by their staff, I would seriously question their reliability when it comes to something as significant as installing or servicing a solar system. If something goes wrong, there’s a real risk they may leave you "in the dark," just as I have been. I cannot recommend AM Solar based on their lack of accountability and professionalism.

Alastair and his team are very knowledgeable around solar systems and their setup. Particulary with the victron set up they installed for me. I gained a lot of insight into the workings of the system after their installation and briefings

I am having the worst experience with AM Solar. Installed a R300k solar system with them but Eskom bills are too high and have been complaining since 2022 for them to fix the potential problem. They do not answer nor respond to calls. Do not recommend using them ever...

Do not use this company. We installed a R300K system and have been experiencing constant problems - they do not take your phone calls and when complaining about bad service levels, they just say that they are busy. We paid R64K for an extension on the system and due to bad service and that they cannot install the system as per our agreed deadline, we cancelled the order and asked for a refund. They only refunded us R40K. We will be taking this matter further legally.
