I have been dealing with them for the last 4 years and had just great service and aftersales with monitoring their installation. The installation team Mark is on the ball and are very quick and friendly. They redone my whole solar system and arrange my solar panels. Quote system from Tessa at office was done professionally and there is no hidden cost. Make live so easy to make a decision to what you want. They installed new DB boards and upgraded my inverters and batteries. Installation was done neat and when I came home in afternoon the area of installation was super clean and all sorted. I was guided through a quick crash course to monitor and understand my system. In times like this, we need a company that is no fly by night. That has a proven track record. After 3 WEEKS of calls to their "Salesperson, by the name of "Angel", to place a replacement order for solar modules, without success. ( Still waiting for an urgent quotation, despite driving there in person to try to get some sort of assistance - to no avail, it is an absolute miracle that this company is still in business. I emailed "Tessa" - their Director two days ago to resolve the impasse. Absolutely No Response, either. Unbelievable that a once- respected brand can sink to such a dismal lack of interest in selling their products. I sincerely suggest you use another brand, as their "sales" department can only be slightly better than any warranty or aftersales service. Thank You for Finally responding. Unfortunately, your excuse and lack of a solution was most disappointing. It took 3 weeks for your employees to understand that the module was a replacement of your own product and the actual size frame was critical. The cost of refabricating an entire expensive designed and engineered 316L framework, to suit your constantly out of production module sizes and the utter confusion in your Epping Sales Office, is very disappointing. Do not blame a client for dismal service.

I just bought mounting hardware for 8 panels from them. I was helped by a wonderful lady called Tanya. Their prices and service were very good, and they delivered to the Eastern Cape to my door. I will definitely use them again! Thank you.

You would think spending a R100 000 with a company would guarantee you some basic customer service, but this is clearly not the case with this place. Our installation started with a faulty battery which they for some reason tried to fix until we insist they install a new functional battery. I can't believe we had to ask for a replacement as brand new clients with a brand new solar system. Just over 3 years later we started having issue again. No one I know with a solar system had issues so soon down the line. They sent someone to assess the situation and it is now nearly 3 weeks later and we have no idea whats going on. Do not waste your money here. There are fantastic places out there that offer good quality products and proper customer service. We just want to know whats going on. Do not waste your money here.

My solar system was installed almost a year ago and the after service support from this company is outstanding, from inverter software updates to responding to general queries. The installation itself was done extremely neat and professional. Thank you to the Setsolar team!

There pricing and service hasn't been to bad, but as they have grown it's declined. What has angered me with them is not to do with equipment, but a simple thing as needing to use their toilet. I've been dealing with them for about 4 - 5 years and just before Christmas I'd been driving around all day and my bladder was pretty full, they refused point blank to allow customers to relieve them selves. A simple basic human need and they disallow it. I'm going elsewhere now, it's embarrassing and humiliating when they know you desperate yet they just don't care, but are quick to take your money. I know it my complaint sounds stupid, but when you standing there it's not so stupid. Basically they stick their products down their precious toilet, I won't be using them again.
