Solar Juice repaired our existing system by installing 5 new panels on 2024-10-25, and replacing everything that needed replacing. Although the roof is high up, I could visually inspect and was impressed by the quality of the installation. It's clear that Solar Juice's team are extremely skilled and they really pay attention to the details. I would not hesitate to recommend these folks to anyone looking for solar heating!

We contacted Solar Juice Somerset West after noticing that on cold, cloudy days, it seemed as if our geyser was actually heating the solar collector panel—clearly something wasn’t right. Leon and his team responded the same day, which already impressed us. Upon inspection, they quickly identified the issue: thermo-siphoning backflow. They took the time to clearly explain the problem and presented us with two possible solutions—installing a U-trap or a non-return valve. Leon immediately recommended the non-return valve as the most cost-effective and efficient solution, saving us unnecessary expenses and labour time. We appreciated the honest, practical advice and decided to go with the non-return valve. Within minutes, the installation was complete. It’s now been over a month and the issue is completely resolved—our system is running exactly as it should, even on colder days. Leon and his team were professional, knowledgeable, and fast, and we couldn’t be happier with the service we received. Had a problem with the pump to my solar geyser and advised Leon on Saturday. He promised to be here by 9.30 on the following Monday and arrived at 9.25 as promised, geyser / pump fixed in no time. Also advised me telephonically what to do until the Monday morning so as not to cause any damage to the system.

After a few frustrating weeks with the insurance company, we managed to get in touch with Leon and his team from Solar Juice SA in Somerset West to come and replace our solar geyser in Stellenbosch. Leon and his team were professional, friendly, efficient - and they managed end to end the installation of a new solar geyser and solar panel in less than a day. During load shedding I always had to park my car outside at night in case there is load shedding in the early mornings and getting into a freezing car early in the morning was hectic. In March 2023, Solar Juice installed our inverter system and since then my car can stay inside the garage and no load shedding can impact us. In spite of the wind and rain storms we had in Gordon's Bay our solar panels are in tact and working perfectly, unlike a lot of other installer’s solar panels that were blown off and destroyed.

Want to most definitely recommend Solar Juice SA. We recently moved here, and all these chit chats about companies being so laid back that take a couple of days to respond and finish off, cannot be said about these guys. We had a fault on our geyserwise panel, and I made contact. 2 whatsapps later and not even enough time for my coffee to cool off, a call was received from Leon, then another by Hannetjie, and quick as a flash, they at my door and repaired the problem.
