Excellent!! My parents used them for the solar needs of the farm and from start to finish they have been amazing. The presentation and analysis by Deon was top class and he was in continuous contact with my father through the whole process. Oom Gideon, Michael and their team did a great job with the installation, their work is extremely neat and the team is very professional. These are seriously hard working people going from start to finish full of energy. We look forward to more projects in the future!

When you see an artisan in action it’s worth the time to stop and observe because it is a rare event. So it was also with Modern Eco Energy Solutions. The owner is personally involved in the installations. My experience was dealing with a very professional company, responsive, and always available when communicating. Site was left in a pristine condition and workmanship was of very high standards. Worth recommending to any customer looking for a solar system.

They insist on a site visit before providing a final quote and this avoids big surprises on installation day. They arrive on time and have the skill to do a professional job. The reservation was handled well Gerhard was always available and wanted to make things work. Really proactive. The day came for installation and although teams had been on the property to measure up, there was no evident plan on what to install where, and this seemed the case throughout the installation. We had huge teams on our property to get it done, and while this was impressive it didn't lead to quality work without constantly watching what was happening. Some of their team works for speed and not for quality. The work in the end is great, and I am very happy with the installation as it is now, but it took a few mishaps, redoing work, drilling too many holes, moving things and reinstalling to get it correct. A handover document at the end of the install would be a great value added feature, complete with the service numbers from the company. A prep plan/walkthrough with the person who was going to do the installation/site manager would've been valuable.

Betrayed-i have known Deon and his company for over 10 years over which period he has done very may electrical and solar projects for me ,which in total amounts to 6 figure sums. Among other things he did a lot of work on our Guest farm Jagerskraal.He and his dad loved the farm ,so i have let them stay for very many a time for free on it. I even offered that he and his family can stay for free for one of his birthdays. They loved it so much ,that he asked me if i would consider ,that he can build a house on the farm, luckily that never materialized. With all the above taken into account we came to a gentleman's agreement that he will only charge me a 10% mark up on future projects on the hardware he supplies, but on his very next solar project ,i realized he didn't kept his word on the markup. When i asked about it ,he answered he doesn't have to discuss or show me his mark up, at which point i decided i will not be able to do business with someone who is not true to his word .So currently he has not issues me with a COC certificate, original or copy of his last 52kw solar installation on the farm and also threatening me that he will not honor the 10year guarantee that come with the product as the supplier and installer. My advise therefor is ,be very aware of his companies markup on products
