I am totally of the Grid thanks to Smart Solar SA. I met with a lot Solar Companies to discuss my requirements their pricing models, products etc. I chose Smart Solar as they catered for my needs, their Service and Installation was very professionally. Great after service had issues with Batteries on 3 occasions due to manufactures issues, and they assisted in in no time to replace batteries. Even had a issue on a weekend which was resolve via telephone and team was on site Monday to inspect system Thanks Vivian and Team
They worked fast and neat all the wires hidden and have never had a problem in the last few years with my power it pays for itself
I had my solar system installed on 26 Aug 22. Vivian and his team delivered above standard service and the installation was completed in just over two days. What impressed me most was the prompt response after my first enquiry. Within minutes Vivian got a Google Earth photo of my house and he placed the panels on the roof which he forwarded together with the system specs and a graph that displayed the production versus the consumption based on my requirements. There was no scope creeping or delays with the installation. I initially went for the single battery system but the day after installation I requested a second which was promptly installed. Now for the good news. 1) Although loadshedding started just after the installation, we had none (repeat) none power interruptions and we are actually not aware of when loadshedding is active. 2) Huge saving on our electricity bill. It averaged at R3200 pm just for electricity for the past two years. In Jun 22 we had a pre-paid installed and on average we had to buy R600 per week which was still to costly for us. One month and 4 days ago I bought R1000 and my units were at 421. As of today 3 Oct 22, we still have 281 units. 421-281=139 units we have used so far. At R2,71 per unit it equates to R376,69 electricity bought for just over a month. The detail speaks for itself and I would certainly recommend Smart Solar SA as your installer and installer.
